Located just opposite the Bishop`s Palace and St. Martyr Dimitar Cathedral, at the Square of Tolerance, Pazvantoglu’s complex was built in late 18th - early 19th century. The mosque and library have remained, but the madrassa (school) and a small Muslim religious sanctuary did not. The mosque was built in the oriental architectural style of that time. The minaret ends with a stylish tip with a spade. Pazvantoglu dedicated it to his parents. It is said that the library was built for his mother.
