The whole area along the Danube banks of Vidin is a car-free area, starting at the Vidin Art Gallery and finishing at Baba Vida Fortress. Vidin locals enjoy walking under the trees of the Promenade, around 30m from the smaller Danube road above the Danube banks. Here, the British Embassy in Sofia (Bulgaria) recently donated a so-called Health Path for Nordic walkers, bikers and joggers. There are also some open air cafés and restaurants. A perfect meeting place is the Paradise Bar, just opposite Anna Kristina Hotel. In the evening young people enjoy parties by the Danube or visit some of the clubs nearby. In the park, you can also admire several sculptures, the synagogue and more.
