MADONA Guest- House and Tavern is situated in the town of Belogradchik, 180 kilometers northwest from Sofia and 50 kilometers from Vidin. The exact coordinates are 43° N 37' 35'' 5''' and 22°E 44' 26'' 7'''. The altitude is 546 meters. It offers two bedrooms, three double rooms and one triple room, provided with their own bathrooms, TV sets and Wi-Fi Internet.The interior of the tavern is in Bulgarian Revival style- wooden tables and chairs, tablecloths with typical Bulgarian embroidery, hunting trophies on the walls and an old-fashioned fireplace. There are 30 seats in the restaurant, arranged in 4 separate places and decorated in different colours.

There are 20 more seats in the garden during the summer season. It seems easy to forget reality relaxing there. The cuisine is typically Bulgarian with Torlak specialties characteristic for the region. The wine cellar offers a special selection of regional wines and brandies. You have the great opportunity to practice alternative, biking, hiking and cave tourism, hunting and fishing, sport, kayaking and white- water rafting. You can visit the Belogradchik rocks, the Kale fortress, Magura cave, Baba Vida fortress, as well as numerous monasteries in Northwest Bulgaria.MADONA Guest - House & Tavern Belogradchik is family business. The beginning was in 1994 from nothing. With their own efforts, the hosts built the tavern first and the hotel later. Thus a small, cosy complex appeared on a built-up area. The hosts treat every visitor like a friend. Mr. Mladenov knows the region very well. If your stay is longer, he’ll show you incredible places. Mrs. Mladenova will fascinate you both with delicious dishes and half-forgotten legends and stories. Mr.Mladenov,Jr. knows the history of the town and the region and will shower you with curious facts of this and that. In this way, the guests in MADONA Guest - House & Tavern Belogradchik become friends with the hosts and come back.
