The trail offers unique views of andesite rock formations where the Hron flows into the Danube. The trail is signed. It is selfguided trail. The most interesting natural spots are the rivers Danube and Hron. The trail offers amazing panorama of Esztergom, which town was the capital of Hungary from the 10th till the 13th century (its cathedral, Esztergom Basilica is the largest church in Hungary).

The best time to visit is from April to October. The trail is an ideal choice for lovers of nature. Along this trail there are some hiker friendly accomodations (cottages, pensions) and restaurants. The trail is easily walkable, the best for target groups: families / 50+. Kamenica nad Hronom and Chľaba are easily accessible by bus. Prices are friendly, food is delicious (scones, fisherman’s soup and goulash are traditional food in the region). This trail is an adventure designed for families and lovers of small mountains.
