This traditional neo-Gothic style cellar restaurant under the Basilica hill offers perfect wines and dishes. The Primate cellar is more than 200 years old and was renovated after 2007. As well, the first tourism visitor center of the region was opened here. Do not miss seeing the the exhibition. There is a huge variety of programs and events. Go for the “Vinum Primatis” in the 3700 m² huge cellar. Try Grüner Veltliner 2013, Chardonnay Barrique 2011, Kékfrankos Rosé 2013, Hétfrankos 2009, Domb Cuvée 2007, or Hárslevelű 2011! The Visitor Centre of Primate Cellar and the Tunnel of Wine Regions of the Carpathian Basin can be visited for free. There are also guided tours through the Wine-growing Exhibition (admission).
