Ilok Town Museum is in Odescalchi Manor (Odescalchi Castle), which was built on the foundations of the 15th century castle of King Nikola Iločki. It was opened in 1952 and reopened in 2010. Each year (since 1962) in Aug/Sep it presents the famous Manifestation of Grapes in cooperation with Ilok Wine Cellars Inc. This is the oldest wine show of its kind in the regions of Slavonia, Baranja, and Srijem. Besides pre-historic artifacts, Roman antiques and medieval and town history collections, a special place is dedicated to traditional tools for viticulture in the ethnographic section. The Manifestation of Grapes is followed by Ilok Wine Festival (see also section Ilok, festivities and events). The museum also has a library, a documentation center, and a souvenir shop.
