Vidin town museum dates back to 1910. It has a numismatic collection of 30,000 coins, a library (4,600 volumes) and in total 63,000 exhibits. Besides its administrative seat, the Historical Museum is housed in the two branches of Konaka Museum and Krastata Kazarma Museum, as well as Baba Vida Medieval Castle.
