Mohács Island (Mohácsi sziget) is a 380 km² big area between Danube and its branch near Baracska, once the river's flood basin. Actually, there are several villages now in this area. Last big flood was in 1956. There is a ferry service to this very low area of the Pannonian plains. Riha lake on Mohács Island, a protected area, is nesting place of little aigrette and quawk.
