The most popular and most beautiful recreation place in the town, at Dunavska Street, this green oasis was established in 1895 on former swampy grounds that were used as fair grounds. The park covers 33,000 m² (5.58 ha) and contains 250 different species of plants. In 1912, the park got a nymph statue, made by Đorđe Jovanović. Further statues and monuments followed. In the centre, there is a swan lake with an island. Paths divide the park into 13 entities. In 2009, the park was renovated through private public partnership.
