The trail unveils the beauty floodplain forests, which in many aspects create an extraordinary habitat hosting different species of fauna and flora. The trail is not signed. It is selfguided trail. The most interesting natural spots are the Danube and the floodplain forests. The best time to visit is from April to October. The trail is an ideal choice for lovers of nature.

Along this trail there are some hiker friendly accomodations (cottages, pensions) and restaurants. High quality accommodation and catering services are available in Reštaurácia Nimród (www.restauracianimrod.sk). The trail is easily walkable, the best for target groups: families / 50+. Medveďov and Gabčíkovo are easily accessible by bus. Hikers can also try cycling. Prices are friendly, food is delicious (scones, fisherman’s soup and goulash are traditional food in the area).
