The trail unveils the beauty of the picturesque plain with unique flora and fauna. It is selfguided trail. The best time to visit the area is from April to October. The trail is an ideal choice for lovers of nature, culture and rural tourism. The most interesting cultural spot is the water mill and an open-air museum displaying the rural past of Jelka. Hikers can also try cycling, rafting and horse riding.
Along this trail there are some hiker friendly accomodations (camp, cottages, pensions) and restaurants. The trail is easily walkable, the best for target groups: families / 50+. Šamorín and Jelka are easily accessible by bus. Prices are friendly, food is delicious (scones, fisherman’s soup and goulash are traditional food in the region).
