This formidable museums shows most attractive master works of the world renown local Zsolnay Ceramic Factory, in the courtyard and on two floors of the oldest known dwelling-house of Pécs. Also, the history of the famous family is presented, including a fantastic ceramic violin, furniture, portraits and paintings. See the Art Nouveau style collection or the Neo-Egyptian ceramics. The most famous invention of the factory was the creation of eosin, which gives a metallic shiny glaze on any ceramic.
