Named after famous Dorottya Kanizsai, a woman who buried the body of drowned King Louis (Lajós) II after the fatal Battle of Mohács in 1526, this museum shows a permanent exhibition with unique textiles and weaving techniques, a film on Busó Carnival (Busójárás) in Baranja, as well as temporary exhibitions, f. e. folk costumes. Most interesting is the so called spectacle store house, which has very old collection of unique Mohács ceramics, utensils and furniture of the past.
