

The Devín Castle is one of the oldest castles recorded in Slovakia. There is a reference to it in the Fuldic annals from 864. Its monumental ruins overlooking the confluence of the Danube and Morava house exhibitions of the Bratislava City Museum. The castle is a listed national heritage site and the greater part of it is open to the public.
