It all started in 2008 in the small village of Deronje in Vojvodina, the biggest tamburica place in the world with most tamburica players per capita, in 2012, it moved to Novi Sad and the Petrovaradin Fortress, renowned for the famous Janika Balaž tamburica players. Held in 2013 for the sixth time, the three days festival presented 11 orchestras from eight countries, crowning each year the best presentation of the tamburica music.
