My name is Tibor Bálint, I'm tailor and costume manufacturer from Türe, Kalotaszeg. We have with my wife almost 25 years of experience in the production of „Bujka ". We do this work with a lot of love and full respect for the tradition. "Bujka" is a symbol of Kalotaszeg, in which we feel comfortable.
I attend numerous events and exhibitions. My products can be found everywhere in the Carpathian Basin. In 2012, during the Transylvanian costume conference, I got an award in the category for costumes. We also have other awards.
The first "Bujka" I sewed, was based on a „Bujka” from 1911. It looked the same like the original. Over the years I've discovered many things myself and I have developed my own style. These results have developed in a profession.
This costume from Kalotaszeg is one of the most impressive Hungarian costumes. We mix old and new methods; as a result we have a nice wearable consistency. I carry on this heritage of Kalotaszeg.
