This church (Belvarosi Szent Mihály Templom) was originally built in 1747 – 1749 for and by Dominican monks. See the high altar and the furniture in the sacristy. The beauty and acoustics of the church are perfect for year round weekly classical concerts. Listen to “A Little Night Music” of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “The Four Seasons” of Antonio Vivaldi or famous “Hungarian Rhapsody No 2” of Franz (Ferenc) Liszt.
