For a lot of people, this magic bath at the Buda bridgehead of Elizabeth Bridge was one of the best party places in the world. Today, everybody can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at night, along with lights changing the 10 m high 16th century Turkish cupola into an unforgettable atmosphere. Parties are now in Lucács Thermal Bath and in Széchenyi Thermal Bath (check www.cinetrip.hu/en or www.bathsbudapest.com/budapest-bath-parties). Rudas Baths was built in 15th century by Ottomans. Mixed bathing is only on weekends (Sat, Sun). The bath is only for women on Tue, and Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri for men only. Renovation works at Rudas Bath ended in 2013. Take trams 18,19, or 41 or buses 5, 86, or 178 to arrive.
