The main attraction in this park, Caro I Street, is the Monument of the Heroes, erected in 1928-1933. The main block has two 3.5m tall figures and a statue of the goddess Victory. There are inserted portraits of King Ferdinand and Queen Mary and, with Trajan and Decebal(us) on the rear. There is also a crypt with the relics of fallen heroes of the WWI. A rose Park (12 ha) was opened in 1912 as an English style park area.
