Old Fane's Lodge

Located in Marasu village, on Great Braila Island, Old Fane's Lodge offers a garden, barbecue facilities, a shared kitchen and a games room, a playground for children (with a slide and swings), a mini sports field (with a basketball hoop), kayaks, bikes for rent. Guests can enjoy the lounge with TV, dining area and a fireplace. On request, we can organize a campfire. Free private parking is possible on site.

A supermarket is 500 m away and a bus stop is 1.5 km from the property.

The air-conditioned rooms provide a seating area and 2 of the rooms have river views. The bathroom facilities are shared and free toiletries are available for guests.
Our lodge is constructed from wood, with structure made out of wood beams and it is sustained from the ground on 9 concrete pillars with 2 m height, above the ground.

Bird watching (more than 200species of birds are present), visit of the Small Island of Braila Natural Park woods and lakes (totally uninhabited), Danube rowing, kayaking, cycling, visit the Macin Mountains National Park (oldest mountains in Romania), try local cuisine, visit of the local traditional house, fishing, mini-sports field (basketball, volley, badminton, football)
