Magyarürög is at eastern base of Jakab hegy (hill), with Éger valley slightly to north. It is a top tourist destination of the region. From bus station at Újmecsekalja in Pécs take busses 22, 23 or 24 to Ürög felső bus stop at Pécs-Magyarürög. After crossing the road, take Fülemüle and Kócsag Street (streets) heading towards the north end of the village. The parking lot is at the Éger passage. The blue and green crosses signal the path to the artificial lake. You can wander around the slopes in the valley following green and blue cross marks.
