Deliblatska Peščara was formerly known as the Sahara of Europe and to stop the spread of this desert to Budapest the Habsburg Empire ordered a forest to be planted. This unique forest of Acacia and Pine and its close proximity to the Danube means the area is rich with a wide variety of flora and fauna.
Examples include rare species such as the Imperial Eagle, the Banat Falcon and the Eurasian Wolf.
Nearby are the seven lakes of Bela Crkva, the closest being Vračevgajsko Jezero. At this lake there is a bar, campsite, sunloungers and crystal clear water perfect for swimming in the warmer months.
Offer
Ladybird Lodge is a 60m2 cottage split over two floors set in 2800m2 of land. It can be offered as a self-catered holiday home for up to 6 people or alternatively fully-catered for up to 4 people.
In the latter case up to three meals can be provided daily; all food is home-cooked, traditional cuisine of Vojvodina.
Homemade or locally sourced drinks will also be provided.
Numerous activities are available to guests, including guided walks, hunting, fishing, bird watching and even Nordic skiing during winter months.

Ladybird Lodge is situated in between Kovin and Bela Crkva. It is possible to reach Ladybird Lodge via public transport from Belgrade airport.
Airport transfers can be arranged for an additional cost. Hire cars are also available at an affordable price.
