The Esztergom International Guitar Festival (Hungarian: Esztergomi Nemzetközi Gitárfesztivál) is the oldest and one of the most important and prestigious guitar festivals, worldwide. It was started in 1973. Annually, there were guitar master courses, which recently have been offered in a biennial rhythm only. The festival was moved to Budapest, some years ago.
