In 1957, Pavle Beljanski donated his art collection (185 art works by 37 artists) to Serbian people. In 1961, a new building was built which now houses these paintings, sculptures and tapestries. The memorial hall shows portraits and self-portraits, a permanent collection of Serbian art from the first to the seventh decade of 20th century. The gallery also awards the Pavle Beljanski Award and shows thee exhibitions. The program is enriched with art workshops and concerts, as well as exhibitions of students of the Novi Sad Art Academy.
