This renowned festival will have its 42nd edition in 2014. Film stars such as Gina Lollobrigida, Robert de Niro, Kirk Douglas, Marcello Mastroianni, Bernardo Bertolucci, Vittorio De Sica, Michelangelo Antonioni, and Roman Polanski who came to this festival stayed in the Metropol Hotel in Belgrade, a place which hosted the first FEST in1971. Recently re-opened, the Metropol Palas Hotel may hopefully continue this wonderful tradition.
