Traditionally, this prestigious festival takes place on 16 May. The main attraction is a procession from the main town square to the statue of Nepomuki Szent János (read Mohács, Places to see), patron of the water-born, which is near the Danube. The festival, famous in the 19th century, was revived in 1989, after several decades in abeyance
