The world famous Island Festival on Óbuda Island, also nicknamed Freedom Island and in former times even Shipyard Island, on Danube, attracts hundreds of thousands of young people from all over the world. On 50 stages, musicians and fans party on this global mega event. On the island, there are also Dance clubs like Club and Beach Dokk (www.dokkdisko.hu; www.dokkbeach.hu), Studio Club (www.clubstudio.hu) or Bed Beach (www.bedbeach.hu). In 2013, 362 000 “Szitizens” of 70 nationalities participated.
