Attraction is opened all year round. The entrance fee is paid through ticket price: adults 1.5€, school children 0.8€.

Key characteristics of the attraction:
1. Sirmium was one of the capitals of the Roman empire during the Tetrarchy.
2. In Sirmium and its vicinity six Roman emperors were born: Decius, Aurelian, Probus, Maximian Herculius, Constantius II and Gratian.
3. The following emperors stayed in the palace: Diocletian and Galerius, Licinius, Constantius the Great, Constantius II, Gratian.
4. Theodosius I was crowned in the palace. Emperor Probus planted the firs vine on Fruska Gora in the vicinity of Sirmium. Constantius the Great celebrated 15 years of his rule in Sirmium.
4. During the rule of Constantius II four synods were held in the Christendom.
5. The Imperial Palace is one of the most significant sites of Sirmium (out of a hundred researched sites).
6. The private area of the palace with luxurious mosaic floors is presented at the site.
7. 350 m2 of mosaic flooring has been found at the site.
8. Parts of the hipocaust have been preserved.
9. A protective building has been built above the site, which contributes to the better presentation of the site.
