Used as a naval station from the 1st to 7th century AD, you can still see the battle tower, the north fortress wall, the barracks and the stores. The exhibition also shows some curious stone inscriptions, decorations and monuments. Some artifacts (inscriptions, sculptures, tombstones) are also housed in a German bunker from WW II. The complex is near the River station. (See also Ruse, Museums, and section roundtrips, Roman Emperors and Wine Route, Sexaginta Prista)
