Thermal water on Margaret Island was discovered in 1886. The Spa is part of the Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget (267 rooms) opened in 1979. There are indoor and outdoor pools, four thermal pools, steam room, aroma cabin, saunas, Jacuzzi and gym. Go through the main hotel entrance to arrive in the spa. Take trams 4 or 6 to Margaret Bridge. Walk to Margaret Island or take the only Margaret Island bus 26.
