Transport

The B16, which used to run through the town, now skirts it by means of a bypass. Lauingen is quickly and easily reachable by car thanks to its proximity to the A7 from Würzburg to Ulm.

Lauingen train station is on the Danube valley line from Ulm to Donauwörth. The Danube Cycle Route and the Via Danubia both go through the town.
