Transport:

Ehingen is located on the Danube valley train line (Ulm – Donaueschingen). Hourly RegionalExpress trains offer fast connections to Ulm and Sigmaringen. Trains run to Donaueschingen and Neustadt (Black Forest) every two hours. There is also an hourly regional train service to Ulm and Memmingen. This means that two trains an hour depart from Ehingen to Ulm. The town belongs to the Danube-Iller public transport network (DING).

The train station is right in the centre of town and in close proximity to the three breweries, Schwanen, Rössle and Schwert. Ehingen is also easy to reach by car via the B311 (Ulm – Donaueschingen), B465 (Stuttgart – Friedrichshafen) and B492 (Blaubeuren – Ehingen, and on to the A8).

The Danube Cycle Route divides into two sections in Ehingen. The direct route runs along the Danube via Erbach to Ulm. The scenic route passes through the prehistoric Danube valley towards Blaubeuren. The two sections converge again in Ulm.
