Silver lake (Veliko Gradiste) - Ram fortress (Ram village), duration: 4 hours
Key characteristics and key tourist fascinations list: Silver Lake 14 km long outstanding beauty with arranged beaches, with facilities for tennis, mini golf, beach volleyball, rowing and fishing from spring to late autumn is a favorite place for tourists. Silver Lake has a lot of accommodation facilities, restaurants and clubs in different categories and prices.
Ram fortress, one of the few most significant sites of the Regional Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments in Smederevo. On the right bank of the Danube, on a steep cliff, are the walls of the medieval town of Ram. Fortress was built by Bayezid II in 15th century. Close to Ram fortress there are also walls of very well preserved caravanserai (a resting place for caravans).
Supporting tourist fascinations: Town Veliko Gradiste is connected with the Silver Lake by pedestrian and bicycle path along the Danube. In the town you may see the National Museum, the main town square with churche, the building of the municipality, the library, a hundred years old park with a large dock. During the summer the town hosts a large number of events.
In the village of Ram under the fortress there are ferries crossing the Danube, so who wants to continue to Bela Crkva may do so. If you are in the mood for some more adventure, returning from Ram, in the village Zatonje you should turn tо the village Biskuplje. The road is good but there is no asphalt. In this village there is a picnic area known as Dascara, dedicated to St Petka thorn. Back to Silver Lake in this case one should go through the village Kisiljevo, Topolovni and Kumane

Nature: In the part of its course through Gradiste, the Danube reaches the width of 2,000 meters and rightfully carries the epithet “The Danube sea”. Protective dam along the Danube River, which stretches from the mouth of Pek and upstream along the town is a favorite promenade of residents and their numerous guests. Due to rising of the level of the Danube, caused by the construction of hydropower plant Djerdap, at the mouth of Pek the bay was formed and it quickly became a habitat for various species of birds.
