The brand new attraction of Odessa opened in 2008. Heart of the outstanding collection is the former private one of Mikhail Knobel: 300 paintings by modern masters of Odessa and the South Russian School of the 1960 – 1990, including a variety of sculptures. But there is even much more than just these. See the painting "Boy's head" by Pablo Picasso, purchased in 2007. In future, there will be works of Mark Chagall and Vasiliy Kandinsky, as well.
