Just above Lanzheron Beach, one may arrive by tram 28 or trolleybus 3. The name of this culture and recreation park, founded in 1840, once was Alexander's Park, to honor Russian Emperor Alexander II. Famous people since then have visited the park. Today, Alexander column is partly situated on the ground of former Odessa fortress. Visit the Green Theater and Central Stadium and walk the Alley of Glory with graves of the liberators of Odessa from Nazi occupation. Park ways go down to Lanzheron Beach, where also the 2006 opened Health Route to Arcadia Beach starts (only pedestrian way).
