Transport
Tuttlingen train station is a regional interchange where the Stuttgart - Singen line meets the Danube valley railway from Donaueschingen to Ulm. Tuttlingen is served every two hours by intercity trains running between Stuttgart and Zurich. In addition, RegionalExpress trains running between Singen and Stuttgart also stop every two hours in Tuttlingen, but alternately with the aforementioned intercity trains, so an hourly express connection to Stuttgart and Singen can always be guaranteed. Local buses connect the train station with the bus station in the centre of town, and various bus routes on the TUTicket network provide fast connections to destinations in and around the town.
The nearest autobahn connections (to the A81 Stuttgart - Singen) are in Geisingen and Tuningen. The B311 and B14 both go close to the town centre via a tunnel, and the B523 takes you from the Tuningen exit towards Tuttlingen. Möhringen lies directly on the B311.
The Danube Cycle Route goes through Tuttlingen on its way from Donaueschingen to Vienna and the section from Tuttlingen to Sigmaringen is one of the prettiest of the entire route. Tuttlingen is also on the Swabian Alb Route.
