To reach Neuburg an der Donau by train, take the Nuremberg – Munich InterCityExpress service and change in Ingolstadt for the Regensburg – Ulm regional service. Neustadt an der Donau is also a station on the Ingolstadt-Donauwörth section of the Danube valley railway.
By car: From the north or south, exit the A9 autobahn (Nuremberg – Munich) at Manching/Neuburg an der Donau and continue on the B16 to Neuburg an der Donau. From the west, exit the A8 autobahn (Stuttgart – Munich) at Augsburg Ost and continue on the 2035 to Neuburg an der Donau. There are traffic-calming measures in the town centre, and parking around the centre is signposted.
The nearest international airport is Munich Airport, 86 kilometres away and just under an hour's drive. Nuremberg Airport (132km) and the business airport in Augsburg (approx. 50km) are also quick and easy to get to.
