Travel to and within Ingolstadt
Ingolstadt has excellent InterCityExpress rail connections and is quick and easy to reach from all major cities in Germany. Franz Josef Strauss Airport in Munich is only an hour's drive away. Ingolstadt is located on a number of major transport routes such as the B13, B16, B16a and B300, and the A9 Munich-Berlin autobahn.
Cycling enthusiasts can ride to Ingolstadt on the Danube cycle path, which runs from the source of the river Danube right through Bavaria via Ingolstadt to Vienna. Ingolstadt is one of the main stopping points in Bavaria.
Ingolstadt also offers free or inexpensive coach parking and is therefore ideal for group travel.
