Transport

Bad Abbach can be reached from the A93 Holledau - Regensburg (Bad Abbach exit) and the B16. Coming from Regensburg (or Nuremberg, Berlin or Passau), at the Regensburg intersection take the A93 towards Munich as far as the Regensburg Süd/Bad Abbach exit and then the B16 to Bad Abbach. The second exit on the B16 then takes you directly to the centre of town – and total relaxation. Coming from Munich, leave the A93 at the Bad Abbach exit and follow the signs.

If you're travelling by train, alight at Regensburg main station (Hauptbahnhof Regensburg) and then take bus 16 or 19 to Bad Abbach. Alternatively, you can take the train to Bad Abbach station, which lies on the Regensburg-Ingolstadt route. However, the station is four kilometres from the centre of town and there is no bus service. You should plan to arrive at this station only if you have arranged a pick-up with the establishment where you are staying. This service is offered quite widely.

Munich airport and Nuremberg airport are both about 100km away.
